Palm Readers and Hand Analysis
Determining the shape of the hand is broken down into four elements. These elements are Water, Earth, Fire and Air. When palm readers are doing a hand analysis it is important to touch upon the shape of a hand in order to give a complete reading. Each element represents different attributes.
A long, sometimes oval-shaped palm, with long, flexible, conical fingers; length of the palm equals length of fingers but is less than width across the widest part of the palm is representative of Water. These individuals are creative, perceptive and sympathetic. They tend to be moody, emotional and inhibited. Also these peopl are introverted and do things quietly and intuitively.
When doing a hand analysis if you come across a hand that is broad, square palms and fingers, thick or coarse skin, and ruddy color; length of the palm equals length of fingers you will be encountering Earth. Palm readers note these individuals as having solid values, being energetic and sometimes stubborn. It is also indicated that these individuals are pratical, responsible and sometimes materialistic.
Palm readers will note a tendency to be spontaneous, enthusiastic, and optimistic in the fire element when doing a hand analysis. The fire hand shape tends to be a square or rectangular palm, flushed or pink skin, and shorter fingers; length of the palm greater than length of fingers. These individuals are also do things boldly and instinctively, can sometimes be egotistical and insensitive and are extroverts.
The last hand shape when doing a hand analysis is the Air element. These palms tend to be square or rectangular palms with long fingers and sometimes protruding knuckles, low-set thumbs, and dry skin; length of the palm less than length of fingers. Palm readers will see individuals who are socialble, talkative and witty in these palms. Air palms do things in different and radical ways. They can be shallow, spiteful and cold.
In addition to the hand shape palm readers will also note the “mounts,” or the little mounds of flesh that raise out of the palm. The study of these mounts is called chirognomy. In a hand analysis these mounts are representative of certain brain activity. Palm readers will observe 8 different mounts, each one has a celestial name, such as Venus or Jupiter. These mounts represent traits like ambition, artistic appreciation, imagination and courage. The texture, firmness and size of these mounts will be noted during a hand analysis.
Palm readers will also make note to the flexibility of a hand during a hand analysis. The more flexible the hand the more flexible the personality. Lastly it is important to note that since palm lines change as your life progresses, palm reading is seen as a chance to clarify things that have already happened and not so much what will happen in the future.
